The SOLID RODS series is an abstract interpretation of solid metallic rods cut transversally. When observed under a microscope, the cut reveals fine lines, a reflection of the metal’s molecular structure. This intricate detail is the inspiration behind each piece.

Each Solid Rod is meticulously crafted using metallic-coloured acrylic paint on paper. Delicate, fine brush strokes form numerous lines, creating a subtle texture over a circle of vibrant colour, also in acrylic. The artwork is further enhanced by a slender wooden assembly that vertically intersects the piece, introducing three-dimensionality through shadow and varying shades.

Every Solid Rod is a one-of-a-kind creation, distinguished by its unique colour combinations, dimensions, and the artist’s signature, number, and date of completion.
