Since 2012, I have delved deeper into the line of work developed in Irregulars II: I continued assembling acrylic-painted wooden forms onto the canvas, but this time incorporating pictorial resources that had already appeared in earlier stages of my practice. Among these are fissures, glazes, dragged brushstrokes, incised lines, and other gestural marks—elements that bring a new expressive dimension and create a dynamic dialogue with the added volumes.
From this evolution emerged a third phase in the development of the series: Irregulars III.
