Irregulars I / Series / Work / Home

The Irregulares I series (2009-2012) emerged from the destruction of my removable murals, created in situ in previous exhibitions. As I dismantled them, I began collecting the painted canvas fragments—remnants of what each mural once was. Over time, these pieces took on a new purpose: I reintegrated them into my works, exploring their expressive potential. The texture of paint on wooden panels echoed the pictorial contrast I achieved by incorporating these fabric fragments into the murals as removable elements. From this deconstructive process, the Irregulares series naturally came to life.
